Sleepovers

I decided to take a quick break from HP and snuck in a quick Jacqueline Wilson book.
My rating: ****

Jacqueline Wilson is my favourite author, but I thought this book was a bit babyish, and I read it in just a couple hours today. My favourite character was Daisy because she had a sister who had problems and people teased her. She decided to show her friends her sister and see if she could persuade them not to laugh at her sister. In the end, Daisy's mean friend Chloe was scared of the dark and ghosts. She was really mean to everyone and even her best friend Emily saw her being mean to the girls in the ABC club. Their friendship was over and Chloe was alone. I think it is important to be nice to everybody.

HP 2

I've just finished reading book 2 in the Harry Potter series!
My rating: **** 1/2

I recommend this book because the author used a lot of descriptions in her sentences. I felt excited when I read the book. I like the part where Harry Potter put the serpent's tooth in a diary and the owner of the diary (Voldemort) disappeared. There were some difficult words, which I had to look up in the dictionary. I saw the movie, but the book is much better because in the book it made more sense. The book was more interesting than the movie, because the movie moved too fast and you didn't get to understand everything.

This is Tom Marvolo Riddle. He changed his name to Voldemort when he discovered he liked the dark arts more than any other subject at Hogwarts School for Witchcraft and Wizardry.
The next book is called "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban". I'm going to start it today.

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Santa gave me the box set of Harry Potter books this year. I am now reading book 2.

My review so far:

This book is about Harry Potter, and he is trying to save a stone from the Chamber of Secrets. My favourite character is Hermione Granger, because she knows every spell there is and her parents are not magical. I like the part where Harry, Ron and Hermione get caught in a weed that you can only escape from if you relax. A question I would like to ask the author is why Harry is the only person who can hear the snake speaking?
